Do you want to overcome that big problem in your life? Find a promise about your situation in God's word and stand on it. Through faith and patience you will inherit that promise.
It takes perseverance, persistent endurance, to inherit the promises of God. The enemy will try to make you waver, to knock you down, and drain all hope so that you give up. But keep standing. Hold onto hope. Feed it with God's word.
Watch your hope eventually grow into powerful faith which changes your circumstances. The end of the book tells us Jesus has already won. Just keep standing with Him and you will completely overcome as you see your own victory too.
Therefore put on God’s complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place].
