Many times our problems in life seem to overwhelm us. Yet because you are In Christ, God has made you the head and not the tail. You are created to be only above and not beneath. Some translations say "always" above and not beneath. (It's in Deuteronomy 28:13 if you want to look it up and be encouraged.)
The world wants to drag you around by the nose and get you caught up in all sorts of problems and messes. If you aren’t careful, you might let all these problems overwhelm you, keeping you from your destiny.
In truth, you are in Christ because you believe in Jesus, uniting you with the One who defeated every enemy you will ever face, including death itself. You are now a member of God’s own family, making you divine royalty.
Rise above your problems and take your rightful place. Hear the word of the Lord today and step out of the boat. It's time to walk above the adversity in your life!
Then Peter called to him, “Lord, if it’s really you, tell me to come to you, walking on the water.”
“Yes, come,” Jesus said.
