BIBLE IN A YEAR

AUDIO VERSION

As the new year begins, it is the perfect time to reflect on the great things God has done in your life. Last year, there may have been challenges that God carried you through, unexpected blessings, or prayers that He answered in ways you did not anticipate. Those moments are worth celebrating!

Then our mouth was filled with laughter, And our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, The Lord has done great things for them. Psalm 126:2

What a beautiful reminder of the faithfulness of God as we start the new year. This Bible verse paints a picture of joy overflowing because of the great things the Lord has done. The goodness of God was so evident that even the nations recognized His hand at work.

With that joy in mind, think about how you can make this year a reflection of the work God does in your life. Make a point to laugh, sing, and share more about what God has done. When you approach life with gratitude and joy, it becomes a testimony to those around you. People notice when your life radiates the joy of the Lord.

Spend more time in prayer, being intentional about praising God for His faithfulness. Share your testimony with someone who needs to hear it. Even small things, like focusing on what is good in your life instead of the bad, can make a big difference.

Let the joy of the Lord inspire you to live this year with a joy that points others to the greatness of God. He has already done great things in your life and He is not finished yet.

Heavenly Father, the joy of the Lord is my strength. I take that as the joy only You, Father, can supply. When my life is committed to You and Your lead, I will walk in the joy of You. When I realize the creator of joy lives within, I will have a life that pleases You. Yes, the joy of the Lord is my strength. Thank You, Father God, for joy! I thank You and praise You. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
