Unity is incredibly powerful. When people are in unity there is truly no limit to what they can accomplish. This is because unity is one of only four things where God commands a blessing.
There are blessings throughout the Bible. But four times God steps that up and the Bible says He "commands" a blessing. Unity is one of those. The enemy knows this and does everything he can to keep the body of Christ as divided as possible.
Jesus said His disciples would be known by their love for one another. Yet Christians are some of the most divided people who often refuse to work together on much of anything. As a result, so many in the Body of Christ disqualify themselves from this commanded blessing of God.
This should not be.
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
for brothers to dwell together in unity!
It is like precious oil upon the head,
that runs down on the beard—
even Aaron’s beard—
and going down to the collar of his garments;
as the dew of Hermon,
that descends upon the mountains of Zion,
for there the Lord has commanded the blessing,
