The key to unlocking the fullness of everything available to you in the Christian life is an intimate relationship with God the Father. Jesus is the doorway which provides us with access to the Father so that we can have that intimate relationship.
Jesus said we should “abide” in His love. It means we are to take up residence in that place, continue to be held there, and not depart. This abiding means we hold fast to that place of love, no matter the circumstances we face. It’s a place of perfect peace.
The enemy does all he can to move us from that place of abiding in Christ. He’ll try to distract us, discourage us, and especially deceive us into losing peace as we fall into worry, fear, doubt, and unbelief.
However, when we stay centered in the love of God, we will be able to get through any situation the world throws our way. Will you allow God to wrap you in his love today? If so, why not make it a point to tell Him that in your own words right now? | ||
