God adopted us into his very own family when we believed in Jesus. Therefore the Father loves you as His precious child. His love is completely independent of anything you say or do. It's already off the top of the scale.
Because God's love for you is already at the maximum, there is nothing you can do to get Him to love you any more. God’s very nature is love. He loves you so much that He gave the single most precious thing He had just on the chance that you might say yes to being adopted by Him.
And at the same time, there is no way you can ever do anything to cause Him to love you any less than He already does. When it comes to your mistakes and sin, Jesus paid for every bit of it two thousand years ago.
God's love for you is selfless, sacrificial, and unconditional because it is a decision of His will rather than a result of any feelings. | ||
