"On this day in 1966, an animated show premiered on TV starring the voice of Boris Karloff and immediately melted the hearts of millions. This show, an adaptation of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas", was directed by the great cartoon legend Chuck Jones and followed the antics of the Grinch, who originally hated and stole Christmas and eventually had his own heart grow to learn to love the real spirit of Christmas...
Sometimes, we get down and despise the holidays ourselves, becoming our own sort of Grinch that needs to get the spirit of the holidays back. So how do we avoid being a Grinch ourselves?"
