Vickie is a progressive and creative business professional with over 25 years’ experience in Human Resources. She is respected in the HR profession for her talent in balancing the need for tactical efficiency and strategic activities to help growing and nimble organizations move forward to reach defined goals. Vickie started her career in the water industry and moved to oil and gas in 2001. She is currently serving as the Vice President of Human Resources at Sabinal Energy.  She has worked both domestically and internationally with publicly traded companies and private equity backed organizations.

Vickie earned her Bachelor of Business Administration and her Master of Business Administration from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. She holds her Professional in Human Resources and SHRM-CP certifications and is a member of HR Houston, where she previously served on the Board as Membership Chair, and the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM). 

When not working at her “real job”, Vickie works on her 9-acre ranchette taking care of 5 horses (Trooper, Mama, Cash, Peanut and Whiskey) and her blue heeler, Ike.  She has been a volunteer with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo for 25 years, currently serving on the Asset Distribution Committee.  Family members and friends have served in the military and in first responder roles, so supporting the groups that support them is very important to her.
